The world press celebrated the Presidential couple during their trip to England, waxing eloquent
on Michelle's fashion choices and Barack's charisma. What they failed to report was
the result of Obama's trip: the acquiescence and subjugation of America to the "collective" world community.
Obama offered an apology for the Bush era, declaring that America
had “shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” towards its allies. He
went on to say that the era of the U.S. attempting to dominate world affairs is
over, saying he is committed to "collective action" by the 20 biggest economies
to end the financial crisis.
Dick Morris explains in very simple terms the ramifications of the collective action
taken and what Obama gave away during the G20 economic summit. "Obama effectively
repealed the Declaration of Independence." A must see
3 minute video explains.
While Obama was kowtowing to the Saudi Arabian King, in violation of both protocol
and American pride, (even Saudi citizens don't bow to this guy) his administration
back at home was busy taking over ever larger segments of what used to be private
industry.
GOVERNMENT AT WORK:
The House
of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a bill Tuesday to increase control
over 'national service' by increasing funding for thousands of
volunteers. (Funding for volunteers? Duh) The GIVE Act will now
allow our public servants to decide if public service will be made mandatory and
charity is now to be regulated by the government. This is very scary stuff.
Meanwhile,
Barney Frank proposed that government control the wages of all employees, not just
CEO's and the chair of the congressional oversight committee monitoring the bailout
funds (TARP) is calling
for the firing of the nation's top bank executives. One need only look to
AMTRACK or the Post Office to see what's in store when the government starts running
private businesses. Getting scared yet?
Hold onto your wallets - cap and trade is coming. The 'Green
lobby' now
outnumbers members of Congress by 4 to 1. More than 770 companies and interest
groups hired an estimated 2,340 lobbyists during the past year to influence climate
legislation on Capitol Hill, a Center for Public Integrity report shows.
Every level
of government is now scrambling to find new things to tax, and finding them. The largest ever increase in tobacco taxes took effect despite Obama's
promise not to raise taxes of any kind on families earning under $250,000 or individuals
under $200,000. Try $10.00 a carton. Ouch.
History shows
raising taxes in a recession is suicide. Low tax, pro-growth
states like Utah have the highest gross state product and income growth, whereas high
taxing anti-business states like New York have the lowest. But, hey,
the democrats won.
Not to worry,
as our elected officials spend our present and future tax dollars at an unprecedented
rate, they haven't forgotten the little guy. They've launched a website to help all us peons cope with the financial
crisis.
CULTURE:
Gender war
update: Afghanistan has passed a law legalizing rape. The new Shia Family Law negates
the need for sexual consent between married couples, tacitly approves child marriage
and restricts a woman's right to leave the home.
Reps. Eliot
Engel (D-N.Y.), Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) and 33 cosponsors introduced a resolution
in the House of Representatives on Wednesday to recognize and support homosexual's
13th annual National Day of Silence on April 17.
22 pro-family groups across America plan to confront the homosexual propaganda event
"Day of Silence", which is being held in public schools across America.
Rise
of the Machine:
A laboratory
robot called Adam has been hailed as the first machine in history to have discovered
new scientific knowledge independently of its human creators.
The creators of the Child-robot with Biomimetic Body, or CB2,
say it's slowly developing social skills by interacting with humans and watching
their facial expressions, mimicking a mother-baby relationship.
Opening a car trunk or controlling
a home air conditioner could become just a wish away with
Honda's new technology
that connects thoughts inside a brain with robotics.
QUESTION OF THE WEEK:
Inquiring minds want to know: Who is pulling Obama's strings? My guess is
George Soros. What say you?
Till next week, keep smiling. And remember, history shows that when liberals
get enough rope, they usually end up hanging themselves. Here's hoping...
