For a change, last week saw a lot of:

GOOD NEWS:

CNN actually apologized (on air) for reporting totally fabricated racist quotes attributed to Rush Limbaugh. Maybe this will be the start of a trend where journalists start checking their facts before reporting them. And maybe one day I'll win the lottery.
BTW: The racists quotes believed to have kept Rush from being part owner of an NFL team were traced to a New York law firm. Duh.

Speaking of the media, grassroots organizers pulled together small groups of protesters in dozens of U.S. cities last week, targeting media outlets -  imploring them to start reporting the news instead of Obama's talking points.

The Wall Street Journal has surpassed USA Today as the nation's top selling daily newspaper and Rupert Murdoch announced the termination of Fox's left-leaning analyst Marc Lamont Hill. Two small steps towards substance over form.

Ariz. Sheriff Joe Arpaio
Ariz. Sheriff Joe Arpaio launched a crime and immigration sweep in Phoenix on Friday, a half day after officials in Washington limited his powers to make federal immigration arrests. Sheriff Joe rightly stated: "I don't take orders from the federal government." You go, guy!

The words "you lie!" shouted at Obama earned S.C. Rep. Joe Wilson a resolution of disapproval on the House floor last month. But the outburst has had its upside, netting him $2.7 million in third quarter political donations. Conservatives, it seems, put their money where their mouths are.

Only 31% of Pennsylvania voters believe former RINO and current Democratic Sen. Arlen Specter should be re-elected, and 59 percent believe it's time to give someone else a chance. I'm smiling.

Colorado has become the first state since 1938 to actually lower its minimum wage. For all you liberals out there, this means employers can now hire more workers. Get it?

Speaking of getting it: my latest article 'The Seduction of Lindsey Graham'  has set a new record. 99.9% of all the many comments generated were anti-Graham. Maybe South Carolinians should force their local reps to move along the recall legislation that is languishing in committee.

Fireman suspended for not removing this flag from his locker

CULTURE:

In Pennsylvania, a Chester City firefighter was suspended without pay for refusing to remove an American flag sticker from his locker. And up in Canada, a truck driver has been fined for smoking in his vehicle because it is considered his workplace.

Hampton University crowned its first non-black (white) Miss HU, leading to a division on campus that prompted her to write President Obama and earning her the coveted 15 minutes of fame.

Meanwhile, an all-male college in Atlanta, Georgia, has banned the wearing of women's clothes, makeup, high heels and purses as part of a new crackdown on what the institution calls inappropriate attire. Common sense in higher education? Where's the ACLU when you need them? (For liberal readers, that's called 'sarcasm')

6 year-old Josie Romero - diagnosed as transgender
In the growing movement to make gender optional, Josie, a 6 year-old, was diagnosed as transgender and is beginning her transition to becoming a female. Inquiring minds want to know: under Obama's new health plan, will taxpayers end up paying for her new gender? (For liberal readers, that question is not sarcasm.)

OF INTEREST:

(Archived 2004 headline):
Kenyan-born Obama All Set For US Senate
Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

Despite his promise of transparency, Obama has spent (or had spent for him) between $1.8 million and $3.2 million in legal fees to keep his personal records secret. These include his birth certificate, his college records and all else that could provide more insight into his past.

According to Gallup, Hillary is now more popular than Obama.

White House communications director Anita Dunn, in a speech to high-school students last May, declared mass murderer Mao Tse Tung as one of her favorite philosophers. And Harry Reid accidently let slip that the Dems health care proposal will cost $2 trillion. Who pays? We do.

By popular demand, RightBias has brought back our weekly RightBias Idiot Awards. So many idiots, so little space. Sigh...

Till next week, keep up the good fight. America is too great to be defeated by the socialists currently in control. Believe it.
